We are back with Craig Harris’ Five on the Black Hand Side, an unforgettable live music event featuring the premiere suite of “Harlem -- A State of Mind” with Harris and his Nation of Imagination.

This landmark piece honors five Harlem giants who have inspired Harris --Brother Leroy Baylor, the Honorable Bill Perkins, Keith Thompson, Lloyd Williams, and Ted Wilson.

Join us Saturday. December 27, at 7pm at Mount Morris Ascension Presbyterian Church, 15 Mount Morris Park West and 122nd Street, free with RSVP to bh@communityworksnyc.com. This piece was originally commissioned by Community Works/New Heritage Theatre Group 20 years ago and has grown and blossomed since.

This harlem is . . . event is a celebration of the power of art to heal and transform communities. It honors the second anniversary of our landmark harlem is . . . Music, Theater & Dance exhibit at the historic Harlem Hospital and its public programs.
