Join us for a dynamic and thought-provoking panel discussion exploring Black suffering and the theological imagination of hip-hop. Grounded in the life, music, and prophetic witness of Tupac Shakur, this conversation will examine how his artistry offers a powerful lens for theological reflection on justice, identity, resistance, and hope within the Black experience.
We are honored to welcome Rev. Dr. Christopher Michael Jones as our moderator. A multi-faceted leader—educator, practical theologian, grassroots organizer, multi-platinum record producer, and columnist for publications such as Ebony, Essence, and Life Magazine—Dr. Jones currently serves as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Hillside in Hillside, NJ. His thoughtful and insightful leadership will guide this rich and engaging conversation.
